Korea and Ken
North Korea has test fired missiles capable of landing a nuclear warhead in Los Angeles. And when Australia protested, Kim Myong Chol said quite simply, "What are you gonna do about it?"
But what goes on the front page of the local newspaper? The State of Origin... Now I love how we won the game (Go Queenslander!!!), but nuclear war is a damned serious business! We have an aggressive and armed state that is now on our doorstop. Well, what are we going to do about it?
Former Enron Chairman, Kenneth Lay has died. Facing 165 years in jail, I feel great sympathy for his pain and sacrifice... He gave up between 20 and forty years of life for money. Admittedly it was a LOT of money. I suppose the world will give any price demanded of it.

The world is an illusion park and people don't want to know the truth because they cannot handle it. The situation in North Korea is very serious and what is the United Nations which is supposed to be the world watchdog doing about it? As usual nothing and one has to question its very existence! The Rugby League has a lot of money spent on it and I don't like the game much. Isn't it funny that we as a nation remarked on how we were able to do well in the World Cup but suddendly that has all be lost in the wind. You are right, North Korea is a serious situation and even on one of the local news bullentins, it got a mere mention but was dwarfed by so called other important news stories. All I ask is what if any should the United Nations be doing and Australia as a Western democracy with such warheads capable of reaching our shores and bringing with them great destruction!
